This course introduces the motor mechanic/ semi-skilled personnel on motor vehicle electronics and diagnostics.

Outcome
After completion, trainees should be able to:
- Use electricity for magnetism purposes
- Measure, calculate and solve problems relating to resistance
- Apply Ohm’s law in any circuit
- Test diodes in a circuit
- Differentiate between resistors and thermistors
- Apply transistors in powertrain electronics
- Diagnose faults in vehicles electronic systems
